William H. Yobi, DMD

Born and raised in Canfield, OH, Dr. Will Yobi is proud to serve the families of the greater Youngstown area, including nearby communities like Boardman, Poland, and Struthers, with a calm, conservative approach to dentistry. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Mount Union, Dr. Yobi began his career at Meridian Healthcare, a provider focused on helping individuals with opioid addiction.
That early experience shaped his commitment to providing care with integrity and empathy—values that continue to guide his work today.
Dr. Yobi went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois in 2022. After three years as an associate dentist in Monaca, PA, he returned home to Ohio and purchased the long-standing DeGenova family practice.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Yobi enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in the local community he’s proud to call home again.
Building on a Local Legacy
This practice was first established in 1958 by Dr. Daniel DeGenova, and later continued by his son, Dr. Mark DeGenova. Today, Dr. Yobi honors their legacy while introducing a new era of dental care for Youngstown and the surrounding Mahoning Valley — one that blends tradition with innovation and emphasizes long-term patient relationships over short-term fixes.
